Background:
The outset of the 21st century has brought in its wake, a fast paced IT revolution and the world is getting more and more sophisticated and complex. The danger that this phenomenon portends is the disillusionment of the youth on our part of the globe, who, as a result of lack and application of right information, are unable to cope with the speed of the digital revolution. The influx of uncensored foreign culture and material onto our markets is gradually causing us to lose our hold on morality and the spiritual upbringing of the youth who are expected to ultimately take up the mantle of leadership in the not too distant future. Parents, teachers, politicians, the clergy and all who matter, are slowly but surely breaking down under the pressures of the times. Whether we like it or not, we’re growing a perverse society of young and mischievous people and the earlier we stood up to face the task of shaping the lives of these young ones, the better it would be for posterity. Since you began reading this script, at least, 2 out of every 3 potential leaders have been nurtured into the devouring jaws of the streets. The picture does look very bleak and the future quite uncertain. The question then is, for how long must we sit unconcerned while society breeds the next generation of armed robbers, drug addicts, school and vocation drop-outs, prostitutes and destitutes?\\\\r\\\\nThings can and must change. No one can pretend to have a panacea or a magic wand that can turn things around. But I do have one thing, FAITH, that things can change and the time is NOW.
