Description:
This is a project for students aged 16-22 who are citizens of Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and Canada who are taking part in a two-week long dialogue about the role of innovation and technology in education.

Background:
After our discussion it is time to write Student Statements and produce both a video statement and videos of our school life and cultures to possibly present at the 5th Microsoft Partners in Learning Regional Innovative Teachers Conference 2009

Objectives:
- To contribute to a written youth statement which will represent us, the students at the 5th Microsoft Partners in Learning Regional Innovative Teachers Conference 2009

-To present this written statement to the teachers at the conference.

-To contribute to visual statements which will represent us, the students at the 5th Microsoft Partners in Learning Regional Innovative Teachers Conference 2009

-To present these visual statements to the teachers at the conference

-For waikato university to include our visual statements in a new exhibition
-To contribute to change in teaching, in the 21st century.

Milestones:
-Progress is already well underway in contributing to the written statement.

-Members from New Zealand (SPLICE)
are preparing their visual statements.

-Waikato Museum has asked for the video statements to put together a proposal about a new exhibit
