Things have progressed considerably. We held a Roundtable discussion to do visioning of SIYC on 16th Sept in Singapore. Notes are in Documents section.
Last night (22nd Oct) we had our first online meeting, and many key outcomes emerged from the discussion:

Today was our first meeting in NY, with the Youth Caucus. Extremely productive - we actually managed to set out our priorities as a caucus (!).
Also the people are great - brilliant, passionate, dedicate greenies with huge potential to make serious change.

We are in the thick of our 2nd big(ger) project: CSD-14. Coordinating a youth/civil society position to bring to the upcoming UN Commission on Sustainable Development.
Held a workshop to skill-up folks on key themes and to generate discussion among green groups and keen individuals.

Our inaugural project, Exploring Sustainable Development Workshops, concluded today. Turnout was cool at 20-ish students, and it was awesome sharing about and discussing these bigass global issues with bright young minds.

There's even a follow-up action project! - They are going to launch a Fair Trade campaign and build an online portal on ethical consumption.
