We are forming the team for our inaugural Singapore youth summit for social change! (We are looking for a cool name too, send us your suggestions! projects@shoutsingapore.org)

This summit will:

1. Launch the national network for social change, aka the outcome of our next few months of our Youth Mapping initiative

2. Kick off SYINCubate, our mentor-support programme to support + nurture promising projects for 1 year, feeding them with our resources, networks and more

3. Gather all emerging youth leaders and social change NGOs in Singapore to share experiences and develop "best practice" on the youth sector in Sg

This is also our founding conference, to help us gear up for bigger and better things!

If you would like to be part of this milestone event, get in touch! projects@shoutsingapore.org

We are in NY!! Reporting back to you from Columbia University, where we're having the pre-CSD-15 Energy Youth Blast to prep the CSD Youth Caucus for the proceedings over the next 2 weeks. There is an amazing energy in the room, and a lot of brilliant young activists, so the next coupla weeks is gonna be pretty exciting!

HIV film screening on March 10 was small and successful. We had turnout of about 15, which means we got to interact a lot, and get to know some of each others' experiences more in-depth.

The Skype session with Tchaiko started with bumpy internet, which soon got rectified and we had full 2-day audio dialogue happening.

Positive feedback, incl some participants who said they learned a lot even though they work on HIV themselves. Woot!

We also got our first donations! :)

Yay and hurrah to our star volunteers: Lisa Li, Benjamin Low, Benjamin Xue. You guys rock!!

Thanks also to Substation, who were our generous venue sponsors.
