Description:
The First installation of the Sustainable Leadership for Asia – Pacific Student is designed to bring together youth (undergraduates) from Asia - Pacific with different ideological, religious and cultural background to openly and professionally discuss global issues pertaining to the world. It also aims to foster networks among participants especially at the international level.

Background:
The Faculty of Management and Information Sciences feels that youth from all over the world need to have a platform where they can share their views, suggestions and exchange ideas which can benefit the global community as a whole. Hence, youth all over the globe have to set aside their differences to come together and meet the challenges faced by the world today. This event is also aimed at grooming participants with regards to leadership, communication and intellectual skills.

Objectives:
This symposium is organized with the purpose of challenging youth to come together and to deal with issues faced by the world today, setting aside their differences. Recognition and acknowledgement of cultural identities, linguistic diversity and each others’ social responsibilities will also be promoted.

Budget:
USD 150/person

Needs:
1)Engaging in the University education in any field\r\n2)Participant’ age between 18 – 25 years\r\n3)Good English communication and interpersonal skills\r\n4)Submitting an article approximately 150 words in either topic of “Asian students for changing circumstances in the flat world” or “Sustainable tourism Development”
