Speak up Nigeria is a debating/public speaking championship based on issues and problems facing Nigerians. Nigerians have to make good choices and speak up or would continue to watch our lives go by and feel helpless and controlled by false powers. Each one who speaks up encourages another to do the same. Speaking up gives us real power which grows in us, the community, the nation and the world. It starts with each of us and then spreads and eventually to most of us and finally to all.\r\n\r\nMillions of Nigerians die prematurely of poverty degenerative diseases, heart attacks, strokes and malaria.Most of our youths can,t find job, they turned to roberry,prostitutions and 419 to survive economic harship in nigeria The statistics are there to prove it, however, little attention is paid to youths because our leaders have become rigid in their thoughts and attitudes.\r\nThe Nigerian problems call for people to speak up\r\n\r\nNigeria have many social,economic and political welfare problems that needed attention.Nigerians Wake up and Speak up now

Background:
its time for nigerians to wake up and speak up\r\nIt is better to speak up and be ignored rather than stay silent and yet expect miracles. Jimmy Cliff was right when he said\"you can get it if you really want, but you must try….\"\r\nNigerians have to make good choices and speak up or would continue to watch our lives go by and feel helpless and controlled by false powers.
