All the Spring Day in Europe pedagogical advisors will meet in Vienna on 8 and 9 January 2005.
The teachers are gathering to work on development of projects, content for the website and strategies for assisting schools.
Susanne Pratscher, Spring Day in Europe's Austrian pedagogical advisor, will play a key role in the organisation of this meeting.
Brigitte Parry, Spring Day in Europe project manager said, "Vienna is a symbolic place to hold a Spring Day teachers meeting. Since the May 2004 enlargement of the European Union, Austria has become the new geographical heart of the EU. What could be a better place for 31 pioneers of European education to meet?".
The meeting will focus on ideas for how to integrate Spring Day in Europe into European school curricula. The 31 teachers will exchange experiences and contacts while developing new resources and activities for schools.
The teachers aim to achieve an excellent Spring Day of knowledge-sharing and debate on 17 March 2005.
