Description:
Currently attempting to fund raise money to send school supplies to the Parika Community High School in Parika Guyana, South America. So far about 800$, but need a lot more. Will be kicking up fund raising in the fall, ask me how you can help. Future goals are a scholarship fund and possibly targeting other schools around the world. Contact: shs.fredericton@gmail.com
Background:
I started this project after teaching in the Parika Community High School. I noticed that they had a lack of materials and resources making it difficult for students to learn.
Objectives:
Short term: Raise 2000$ to send a shipment of school supplies to the Parika Community High School.\r\nMedium term: \r\n1. Target other schools and send more aid.\r\n2. Become a registered non-profit.\r\nLong term: Start a scholarship fund/foundation for young girls in Guyana
Needs:
Volunteers, organizers, website, funds, ideas, fund raisers, partners, constitution/charter.
