Background:
This project was conceived and operationalized by the students of Darjeeling studying in different location in all over India back at November 2008.It has members from 25 renowned colleges and universities in India.
Objectives:
·Broad Objective: To enhance the quality and quantity of Human capital.
¨ Human Capital - Educational and health attainment of people which will enhance their level of employability.
Milestones:
For past two years Student Welfare Forum (SWF) with its stated goal of providing better means and information to the student community has organised various seminars and interactive sessions with the different schools in Darjeeling about the challenges and opportunities of higher education in India.
Budget:
Rs. 50,000 only.
Needs:
Planing to organize the 1.A book fair in district .
2.GIVE INFORMATION ABOUT US AND OUR PROGRAMS TO VARIOUS HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL IN DARJEELING DISTRICTS LEVEL.
3.HAVE A DISTRICT LEVEL SEMINAR REGARDING HIGHER EDUCATION
4.UPGRADE OUR WEBSITES TO MAKE IT MORE USER FRIENDLY AND RICH IN INFORMATION
5.GIVE AD AND ARTICLES RELATED TO EDUCATIONAL FIELD TO VARIOUS MAGZINE ESP.STUDENT MAGZINE
