Description:
HIV/AIDS & ICTs RESEARCH PROJECT. The project is designed to help in the understanding how Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) can boost the HIV/AIDS education and Capacity building for the Youths in line with MDGs goals for the Youths led entities.
Background:
The HIV/AIDS & ICTs RESEARCH PROJECT'' is essentially Developed to be a Project that response to the Undeserved status of our Youths in Taraba State-Nigeria and collaborate with other gender related Networks ,the private- public partnerships to integrate ICTs into the Mitigation process in the Health Sector .It is also intended to Stimulate policy change for the Youth in the State.
Objectives:
Creating an opportunity for underserved youth and women to be part of global information society.
Provide a channel to which effective and functional HIV/AIDS Behavoural messeges, access to information like receiving, collecting and disseminating on issues and problems that confronts the underserved youth and women.
Create vision for the future through using the research initiative to encourage the formatrion of drama groups that would enhance HIV/AIDS communication activities at the local level
Milestones:
Lack of knowledge on HIV/AIDS and not disscusion it at home and other public places is our major concern in this project.
Lack of youth and women to led discssions on HIV/AIDS.
