Since the beginning of May, we have had two very productive, revealing meetings. Now that the World Urban Forum is done, and I've come back reinspired and reinvigorated, it will be easier to continue moving forward.
Lots of good dialogue and brainstorming around National Youth Councils. It would be great to see a more established local model in Ithaca to start.
I really would like the group to feel comfortable with one another after the next 2-3 meetings. I am going to look into some outdoor team building activities we can work with, perhaps some spiritual/body-based stuff we can do at the meetings... so people don't feel like their brains are going to explode from thinking so much.
Learning is limitless. Education is an experience. Creativity is necessary for growth.
