I can't believe this!
I got a reply from Robert, one of Catherine's former students. He was the article sorter, and he let me have the TWN's yahoo account ( teenworldnews@yahoo.com ) . All of the correspondents' letters, articles, and other organizations' proposals are still there, after years unchecked!
I have sent a similar email to all the people in the mailing list...and waiting for their replies.
We are really reopening TWN !

This is the email sent to all TWN's correspondents I know :
Hi all,
I hope this email can reach you.
I got your emails from one of the precious Teen World News' updating email that I have kept after changing my mailbox. So, l'm Nguyen Huu Cat Thu, who used to write to Teen World News as Cat Thu Nguyen Huu, from Ninh Thuan, Vietnam. At the moment I'm 17 years old and doing my IB's first year at the United World College of Costa Rica.
Of all the sites for teens I have known, I still like TWN the best. It was really an online publication, somewhere that teens around the world could freely express themselves through words, without any criteria, any judgment on background, personality, or what was written. It was where I had read many points of view, where I freely had discussions on issues on the world. It was international. It had the reputation, and was respected by many other youth organizations, as well as teens around the world.
I didn't know exactly why TWN was shut down, but I'm trying to re-open it, and improve it. To do that, I need help from all of you TWN correspondents and contributors. I have been trying to contact Catherine, our editor, through emails, through facebook, through google... but as I said, I changed my mailbox, so I didn't have her personal email any more. I really hope we can get in touch with her again, but even when we can't, we can still try and manage to rebuild TWN by our own.
