Description:
Theroadtotunis.com is a blog site with two purposes. The first is to ensure that all information released relating to the World Summit on the Information Society is disseminated to young people effectively and thoroughly. The second is to act as a channel for youth fellowships to enable a larger youth caucus to attend the second phase of the Summit in Tunis, 2005 and the preporatory meetings.
Objectives:
- To raise awareness of the WSIS issues that are important to youth in the youth community.
- To find funding to enable a larger youth caucus in the second phase than in the first.
- To ensure that the youth caucus is more organized and focused with practical details (such as accomodation, logistics etc) the second time around.
Needs:
The website will be setup in the next month, based on open source technology. The project will need a small team of volunteers to 1) ensure that any information is posted on the website and 2) find potential fellowship-supporters.
