Timeline: January 1 00 to January 1 14

Description:
TUONGEE (Let's Talk) is a radio and television show project that broadcasts public discussions. It is transmitted live from various sites on a local radio station and a day after on a national television.

Background:
Putting in perspective problems such as; poor opportunity definition, increasing crime rate, un- employment, ill awareness on modern methods of health care and more hindrances to community development, this project hopes to gain more support from different funding agencies locally and globally to promote sharing positive and sincere ideas. This project impacts change and restores disappointed youth back to their possible contributing levels in the community through exploiting the reaching and influential powers of radio and television. We attract participants from different sectors (academes, successful business people, health experts and more) to balance our scope of focus and cover the challenging experiences of the youth.

Objectives:
The goal of this project is to create an easily accessible platform for sharing information and experiences that can generate better actionable decisions in the youth of Tanzania. The problems of today became more complicated since the parents could afford to black out parental care and guidance on their children by entrusting them mostly on public schools guidance, hopefully thinking that staying in schools nurtures a human being to glory. It works maybe. But the country is now more loaded with dreamers - who know how things should be, but can not initiate action for solutions. This project targets actively tackling reason in the youth of today via interactive discussions, participative ideas in a team, a better look at opportunities around and realize a community of a much better productive youth.rnThe youth of today is trendy. Old style radio and television programmes existing in this country may be much heard than listened to. Why? Success portrayed with entertainment, rewarding competitions and participative inclusion has proven to be more appreciated as possible and scores more chances of being believed and depended on for exercise by the youth. It is therefore our intension to introduce character of possibilities in a bid to share solution finding ideas and win over the negatives enslaving the youth.

Milestones:
Endowed with talent and the urge to move on. So far we have an hour on one local radio station (Ebony Fm) each week for our programmes.

Budget:
$100,000 per year.

Needs:
Visual and audio production equipments plus other technical equipments.
