Summer 2003- US leaders from diverse sectors begin to prepare for the UN launch of the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development
Summer 2004 - US Partnership for the Decade of ESD is created.
March 1, 2005 - UN launches the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development
April 15, 2005 - US Partnership Youth Action Team holds first planning meeting for a National Youth Council for Sustainability
June 1-5, 2005 - US Partnership Youth Action Team coordinates Youth Track at UN World Environment Day in San Francisco, CA.
June 5, 2005 - Youth Action Team Co-chair, Daniel Roth, appears on CNN with Van Jones, director of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights to discuss the Urban Environmental Accords
