Volunteer needed for Conservation Project in Cat Ba Island

For those who are interesed:
The Zoological Society for the Conservation of Species and Populations (ZGAP) and Münster Zoo are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated person as volunteer in the Cat Ba Langur Conservation Project on Cat Ba Island (Northern Vietnam).
Description of duties and responsibilities:
Assistance with the day to day management of the project
Supervision of single specific project components in agreement with the project manager
Assistance with the implementation of protection and conservation measures
Coordination of community based conservation activities
Assistance with the supervision of the Vietnamese project staff Assistance with langur surveys (field work) Assistance with the preparation of Conservation Awareness and Education activities
Preparation of reports and assistance with accounting Support of the fundraising activities for the project.
Requirements:
Ability to work independently, but in close co-operation with the project manager on site and the executing organisations in Germany is required. Good organising ability and reliablitlity are imperative. Candidates must have very good command of English (oral and written). At least some experience in field work and conservation work is required, prior journey or working experience in tropical countries is desired. Candidates should have excellent diplomatic and communicative skills, but also need to be able to deal with simple living conditions in a rural and isolated area. Proof of health and accident insurance has to be provided. Preference will be given to persons indicating that they are willing to stay for longer periods.
