Kimon Haars, de WFUNA-youth coördinator gaat over naar het volgende punt in de online discussions, namelijk:
"The question of whether WFUNA-youth should be integrated into WFUNA by means of an amendment to the WFUNA constitution or whether WFUNA-youth should be a separate NGO."

Bij de e-mail van de Interim Authority zat een bijlage die bestond uit een ontwerp amandement voor de WFUNA constitutie.
Dit document kunnen jullie inkijken/dowloaden in de sectie "Documents".
Zouden jullie hieronder kunnen posten wat jullie ervan denken?

THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE
WFUNA-YOUTH INTERIM AUTHORITY

The recommendation of the WFUNA-youth Interim Authority on this issue is to make WFUNA-youth a part of WFUNA, which has autonomy in its budgetary issues and autonomy in its project-decisions . This would mean that WFUNA-youth decides independently which projects it will carry out and in which way it will carry out those projects.
The main arguments in favour of WFUNA-youth becoming integrated into WFUNA are:
1. Because we would be an autonomous part of WFUNA, we do not lose the possibility to do the projects that we deem important and take our own decisions on how to do our projects.
2. We are much more likely to get much more assistance from WFUNA if we are part of WFUNA than if we are a separate NGO.
3. Coordination and cooperation with WFUNA is made easier if we are integrated into it.
4. UNAs would not have to work through two different World Federations to carry out similar projects, such as Model UN which is an area of activity both of WFUNA and of WFUNA-youth.
5. We would minimize the money and time spent on logistical and administrative issues, because we would use WFUNA's existing capacities for any administrative and logistical matters.
6. We would avoid doubling structures. We would be able to use the existing structures of WFUNA and build upon them, such as the WFUNA offices, the WFUNA mailings to UNAs, WFUNA meetings (such as the Plenary Assembly). If we were to be a separate NGO we would have to spend time and money to organise all of this ourselves.

Dear Florence and Anthony,
It is important that we get the views of all UNYAs and UNA Youth Sections on the WFUNA-youth structure before the Youth Meeting in Buenos Aires begins.
We need to have these views both from the UNYAs and UNA Youth Sections that will not be participating in Buenos Aires and from those that will be present.
Therefore please send your comments on the proposed WFUNA-youth structure to wfunayouth@googlegroups.com within this week .
