Green Week!

Hey guys so I'd really like to get that green week effort going but it turns out theres already a couple green week efforts... main problem is that most are in the summer or not till february and i think that it is important to get the idea out there asap.
Carbon 350 day is sunday 10/10/10
Lets allow for the week before or after the day to be your school's individual "Green Week"
(the week before is homecoming for my school so this would go unnoticed... also there were some schools with days off etc)
This could be great!!
If someone can figure out the event thing that would be great also... it is confusing me

At my school we are going to set up a huge poster (made from old boxes taped together) and let kids put their handprint on it and sign it with their green commitment. All throughout the week they have the option of coming back and changing each finger on the hand to a green print and hopefully by friday all the fingers are green! if they are, then the person will receive a brownie or cookie etc...
One thing I am making clear to everyone is that the point isn't to force anyone to do anything, but to plant the idea of being a greener person in their mind
