Description:
YAY is a partnership organization of Youths on the Move International, A Better Community for All, and Youth for Change International. The goal of the partnership is to imagine, create, and continue current projects of the respective organizations.
Background:
Originally, Burt Danet (Co-Founder, ABC4All) wanted to create Youth Coordinators representing all 3 of the organizations. Zach Komes (Founder, YFCI) decided that Project Y.A.Y would, no doubt, really start something. Femi Durojaye's (Founder, YOMI) un-believable faith in this organization lead to the founding of Project Y.A.Y.
Highlights:
* The partnership project was founded in the February of 2007.
* The website was created in October 2007.
* Project YAY elaborated on ABC4ALL / YOUTH Division.
Objectives:
Project YAY will enable YOMI, ABC4ALL, and YFCI to use each of the organization's talents, and aspirations to create one group of people who will work for a better world.
Milestones:
2/06/07 - FOUNDING OF YAY!Official Emailing of the Organizations (YOMI, ABC4ALL, YFCI). This was the beginning of the brainstorming era.
2/10/07 - Creation of TIG Group
