Congratulations! What began as a spark of excitement is about to become a reality as you prepare for your overseas placement with YCI.
Now that you have accessed the Taking IT Global Project page for Grenada, you can start getting ready for your project. While this Project page contains everything that you will need over the next little while, please remember that you are not in this alone! YCI may not be a huge enterprise with a large staff but we are a dedicated team with a passion for helping make this life changing experience a reality for you too! Although getting you on project will take a lot of initiative on your part, we’re here to help you along the way.
You’ll be hearing from YCI on a fairly regular basis. But if you go a while without hearing from us, feel free to give us a call. We try and maintain contact with everyone but with almost 200 Volunteers to support it can sometimes be a stretch! Some of the things we can help you with are fundraising ideas, getting you hooked up with other people on your project and in your area…and of course answering all of those project specific questions that crop up.
Our key words of advice are to make sure that you read over all of your documents carefully. We have worked very hard to make sure that they cover all of the essential information that you are going to need to know.
