Habari za safari? Ask an alumnus!
July 10, 2007 - 03:42 PM

Hi all preparing Kenya volunteers. This forum is your chance to address alumni from previous Kenya projects. Please post your questions on this forum and alumni are monitoring it to offer their perspective, advice and hopefully some much wanted answers.

All the best with your preparations!big grin

Hi all new and old volunteers!

My name is Alison, I'm 27 and from Toronto. I just returned from Kenya about a week ago. What an amazing experience!

If any of the new volunteers heading to Mombasa in September have any questions or issues they would like to discuss, feel free to post a message or email me at alimcq11@hotmail.com.

Best of luck with all of your fundraising and preparations!

Alison McQueen

Hello everyone!

I've been meaning to post a message for the preparing Kenyan volunteers for a while. My name is Bridget and I'm from Ottawa. I was part of the first YCI project in Kenya, where I worked at Kwacha Afrika and lived in a community called Mtopanga, just outside Mombasa, with five other volunteers.

Please don't hesitate to e-mail me at banardi@hotmail.com if you have ANY questions about your upcoming experience or post-project travel. It is going to be fabulous!

Cheers,
Bridget smile
