Learning Swahili

Hi,
I'm volunteering in Tanzania in September 2009 and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice about learning Swahili. Which books would you recommend? The Internet has a lot of resources, but I haven't found much with audio which I think would be helpful for me. Also, do any books have written exercises to work through?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Buy a Swahili translater book, like from Lonely Planet (that's where I got mine). It has a dictionary in the back and also lots of common phrases in the front. Also if you have an iPhone or iTouch (might also work on some other devices), you can get an application called WordPower on iTunes (Comes in a bunch of different lanuages), and you click on a phrase or word and it will pronouce the word to you (it's helped me millions). One thing to remember, most Swahili words you pronouce every letter unlike English where we'll have a slient 'k', etc. Or also watch Lion King, there's a few Swahili words in there.
