This project is focused on one of the world's unique nations to survive , What comes to you mind when think of Somalia? Civil war, piracy, lack of central government, the not so positive list could go. But there is also a lot of positive things there. It is worth saying that you have never heard if your country has an ambassador in Somalia. Or any any group of tourists planning to spend their vaccation in Soamlia.The main resaon behind these facts is that Somaila is the only country in the whole wrold which is lacking effective central government since 1991.Due to lack of stabilityto work or live, there is no single foriegn ambassador in Mogadishu; the capital city. This means the complex interrelated natural and an made problems in the horn of Africa are blocking fromal global relations as well as multi-cultural interaction with in the country. This project is intended to connect the world population to peoples and places of possibilites .The Young Ambasador will 1. Share information about and with in the horn of Africa. 2.Access yo updated information on what is happening in the horn of Africa, 3. Expected to positive comment towards the future projections of life, IT, education, peace, and conflict solutions in the region.
Background:
It is now close to 20 years that the central governemnt of Somalia is missing, continued civil war with parallel severe humanaterian situations, lack of stablity, lawlesness, and chaos have probably taouched evry family and individaul .In Somalia, every family judges in his life, and is responsible in his security as well as all necessary services and roles vacated by the missing government.More than 2 million civilain people have fled out of the country since 1991; seaking shelter and stable life, the refugees from the horn of Africa have probably reached each and every nation on earth including the smaller islands. On the other hand more than 10 attemps primarily aimed in reestablishing some sort of centarl governmnet have failed . Mogadishu, one of Africa;s most beautiful cities in 1980s is now among the severly destructed. More over it is one of the world's most dangerous cities. Beyond this facts local citizens in Mogadishu are not bothered by the severle living condition beacuse the have already adapted this of life. One important case is that the prolonged conflicts are change the whole life system and the future is very unpredictable for the comming genartions.Todays Somali youth generation has grown or born with days of bullet niose and consequently has not experienced moents of governence, justice, and shared oppurtuinies. Instead the experienced the kind of life shaped by the gunpowder, a child for example born in 1991( when the last government was lost)is now 18 years of age an is a key figures in the country's transactions, and events as well. Many people belive that it will be great contribution if positive communication among the current youth generation as well as with in rest of world yout is to be activated and accelarated.
Objectives:
1. To tap the world the underlying oppurtunities and threats in the horn of Africa. 2. With the aid information technology facilate youth in the horn for effective communication with the rest of the world. 3.Attract media attention for the world's unreported/ under reported peoples, place, cases and sititautions.
Milestones:
1.Connect among youth people
2.Prepare unique reports and collect amazing pictures , case studies for youth peole around the world.

20 Digital CAMERAS
30 Mobile phones
10 lap tops
500 youth volenteers from different countries, The youth volenteers wil share their experiences, living systems , eduaction, ideas, pictures, with the targetted youth people in th Horn of Africa. Every individual in the project iwill be recognized as a young ambassador from his country, city, or villege ragardless of his race, color, location, profession, or even age.
