Description:
Cameroonian Youth National Convention will be the first convention organized by young people in order to allow debates and discussions about social issues and youth's difficulties to live in a poor society.
It will be held on February 2008 at Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon intending to call a union of all national youth associations under the same banner.
Poverty, unemployment, education, social justice and more others are our main subjects that concern directly our brothers and sisters in Cameroon.
Background:
Nothing or almost has been done for the cameroonian youth since the 1960s. And nothing will be done if the cameroonian youth is not able to take his responsibilities.
There is no opportunity for a young person in Cameroon to get a job or to initiate a business, because of a huge lack of social and educational policy and corruption.
It is time now to go ahead and to assume our role as future leaders of the cameroonian society.
Objectives:
A national Convention of youth's associations discussing and debating about poverty, development, culture, justice, and economic issues.
The main purpose is to link all the associations representatives of the whole cameroonian youth together in order to ensure the dialogue and exchange between them.

Budget:
This project requires an important financial and material support that is why we intend, Youth Ahead!, to knock on all the doors because our actions are based on charity and human solidarity.
There is no profit making, all the human and financial ressources will be supervised by a board. we want to encourage transpenracy.
The approximate budget can be estimated in 2 milion FCFA.
Needs:
All material, financial and human supports will be welcomed.
