During the Climate Change workshop we discussed the causes of global warming and the consequences of the climate change for the whole world and Russia. Participants were really anxious about problems of animals and their extinction. Major point of discussion was melting of eternal ice and rising level of the ocean. It draws imaginary pictures of Earth under the water.

Во время семинара мы обсудили причины глобального потепления и последствия, вызванные изменением климата. Участники были сильно обеспокоены проблемами животных и их вымиранием. Важной темой обсуждения был вопрос таяния льдов и повышения уровня мирового океана. Это рисовало воображаемые картины Земли под водой.


During the Culture & Identity workshop we discussed the problems of intercultural communication. We thought of stereotypes that people of other cultures have towards Russians. Also we discussed symbols that can be attributed to Russian culture. Studying history, visiting other countries, participating in international sport competition are factors to foster unity among cultures.

Во время семинара мы обсудили вопросы межкультурного общения. Подумали о стереотипах, которые представители других культур имеют по отношению к русским. Также мы обсудили символы, которыми можно описать русскую культуру. Изучение истории, посещение других стран, участие в международных спортивных соревнованиях – факторы, помогающие объединить разные культуры.
