Description:
Its a water purification project that has to do with child mortality of my geograpyical location which needs quik attention.
Background:
Water borne disease is the single largest communicable disease in the world according to UNICEF recent research which contribute to child mortality leading to 3 million death per year with great percentage from Africa and Asia and its as a result of poverty and lack of education on health and hygene.
Objectives:
To ensure that people living in rural communities get clean source of drinking water for children living in those rural communities which will be achived by educating them on water purification after leaving the main source of getting the water before drinking.The sinking of bore hole in the communities will be done in other to reduce the insufficency of water availability.
Budget:
The sum of five million seven hundred and sixty five thousand naira(N5,665,000.00)has been estimated for the project to take place in three (3) communities as a kick off point.
Needs:
Water purification equipments that can be sourced locally by the people will be used for the demostrative part of the project.this includes:-
1.Water purification Agents
2.plastic containers
3.writing materials
4.Daigrams&Pictures of affected areas by water borne diseases.
5.Sieves for filtering water.
6.Charts on water globally
7.Pamphlets&Flyers on water purification
8.Soveniurs on water purification
And other material we will get fromcoparate bodies.
