Description:
YSN expresses the value of ICT for development by implementing the use of computers even in rural areas. (Computer contribution program) YSN expose the rural children to e-learning experiences and help them seek information that they are insufficient of, assisting them how to make full use of the information they get into the development of this country.
YSN itself is a network system and therefore, its introduction into the society proves the development to the targeted areas. The networking system (ICT based system) of YSN itself already brings development to certain areas, such as the town of Kemaman, Terengganu. Citizen of all level of this society were not left out with the growth the digital world and thus, bridging the gap of two different world.
By having an e-platform, we encourage netters to seek information, mentorship, internship, and advice from our website, encouraging e-learning and information exchange. The e-platform is the base of our activities. In it we pose latest updates on science news/ articles, section of e-mentoring and e-tutoring/ e-learning. There will be
Objectives:
X To unite human resource nationwide and eventually worldwide, ranging from field leaders to young scientists, allowing information exchange and knowledge development among them.
X To create a borderless environment and to guide the way forward for young scientists to build and develop their talent.
X To help the needy, especially reaching out to the rural children by exposing them to ICT and e-learning experiences.
X To provide facilities such as computer contribution to under-developed areas in the country, thus creating a digital community and a network of unlimited knowledge in these areas.
X To provide digital opportunities, adding values to youth ICT development and youth ICT quality development.
X To create awareness and build co-operation among parents on the importance of ICT implementation in their child¡¦s learning.
